As a lifelong Lexingtonian, founder Daren Turner saw untapped potential in the 40-acre tract off Main Street, formerly bustling tobacco warehouses. Beyond the industrial ruins, he envisioned a vibrant mixed-use destination. The Commons transforms these historic warehouses, preserving old water towers and honoring Lexington’s past while embracing its future. Despite challenges, Daren is committed to creating a connected hub for community, collaboration, and convenience. “It’s an honor to develop this legacy project for my hometown,” he says.
